Situation in Russia - Communique issued by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (June, 24 2023)

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in conjunction with the French Embassy in Moscow, is closely following the events under way in Russia and is fully mobilized to ensure the safety of the French nationals present in the country, as well as that of diplomatic and consular staff.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is in close contact with its main international partners, particularly its G7 counterparts and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr Josep Borrell Fontelles.
