Awarding of the Grand Prix du Rayonnement Français (Sept.21, 2022)

Can you confirm that a ceremony was held at the Quai d’Orsay to award the Grand Prix du Rayonnement Français [honoring those who boost France’s influence and prestige abroad], and that Patrick Poivre d’Arvor was part of the jury?

This award was created by Senator Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam. The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs hosted the ceremony in 2019 and was supposed to do so this year, but it doesn’t take part in its organization. The senator announced that the 2022 ceremony, originally scheduled for October 4, would be postponed to a later date. We suggest you contact her staff for any questions relating to the award. Also, as far as we know, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor is not serving on the 2022 jury.
