Dominican Republic – Nightclub roof collapse (10 April 2025)

France expresses its heartfelt solidarity with the people and government of the Dominican Republic following the April 7th nightclub roof collapse in San Domingo, which claimed a large number of lives, including those of two French nationals. France stands with our fellow citizens’ families at this difficult time.

France offers its sincere condolences to the victims’ families and wishes those who were injured a speedy recovery. France commends the efforts of the rescue workers who worked to save people trapped in the wreckage.
