Israel/Palestinian Territories – Violence perpetrated by settlers against the Palestinian population (29 October 2023)

France strongly condemns the settler attacks which have killed several Palestinian civilians over the past few days in Qusra and Sawiya, and the forced departure of several communities in Area C.

Acts of violence perpetrated by settlers against the Palestinian population are on the increase. They are intolerable and must stop.

France calls on the Israeli authorities to take immediate steps to protect the Palestinian population, particularly the community of Susiya, which has received imminent threats.
