Israel – Release of Three French Child Hostages in Gaza (27 November 2023)

France welcomes the release of three of its children today: Eitan, Erez and Sahar, cravenly taken hostage and finally free. They are currently safe in Israel. We share the relief of their families and all those who actively worked for their freedom.

France pays tribute to the mediation efforts of Egypt and the ICRC, as well as Qatar for its decisive role.

The release of the French hostages in the Gaza Strip is an absolute priority and we are working tirelessly to achieve that goal. Five of our compatriots are still missing at this time. They can count on France.
