France strongly condemns Houthi attack against Israel (16 September 2024)

France strongly condemns the missile attack against Israel carried out by the Houthis yesterday.

France points out that this attack and the many other operations conducted by the Houthis, particularly against commercial ships in the Red Sea, are unacceptable and that these destabilizing actions must stop immediately. The Houthis, supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran, bear a heavy responsibility in the regional escalation.

Finally, France reiterates its commitment to regional stability and the security of Israel.
