Israel/Palestinian Territories – Strike on a school in Gaza (10 August 2024)

France utterly condemns the Israeli strike on 9 August which targeted the Tabeen school in Gaza City. For several weeks, school buildings have been repeatedly targeted, with an intolerable number of civilians killed.

It recalls that Israel is required to abide by international humanitarian law.

France reiterates its call for the unconditional release of all the hostages without delay and an immediate ceasefire in view of the humanitarian emergency in Gaza.
