Q: With regard to Moldova: Is France providing military assistance to Moldova through NATO or another framework, particularly in connection with the occupation of Transnistria and the presence of Russian Federation troops?

A: Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian has repeatedly expressed his concern and his vigilance over incidents that have occurred in Transnistria as well as France’s full support for Moldova’s stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of the risks of destabilization it may be facing.
