Somalia – Attack in Mogadishu (30 october 2022)

France utterly condemns the terrorist attack carried out yesterday in the very centre of Mogadishu, which killed some 100 civilians and injured very many more.

At this difficult time, France expresses its solidarity with the Somali authorities and people. It extends its condolences to the bereaved and its support to the injured.

France, together with its European and international partners, stands alongside Somalia in the fight against terrorism.
