France Alumni Day, launched in 2023 at the instigation of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in partnership with the Campus France agency, honours the graduates of French higher education and their global achievements. Events will be held around the world during the second Day , lasting a fortnight from 11 to 26 May 2024.

France Alumni, a network of 380,000 graduates

The France Alumni network, created in 2014, now has almost 400,000 members from 128 countries. This network enables former international students and graduates of French higher education to maintain special ties with their country of study.

Over the years, these alumni have become invaluable ambassadors for France, with some 80% using French regularly at work or in their personal lives.

The network they form is an asset for France’s global reach. It highlights the attractiveness and quality of France’s higher education and research, as recognized in international rankings. In 2022, for the third year running, France held the third place globally in the number of top-50 establishments in the Academic Ranking of World Universities, or “Shanghai Ranking”.

France Alumni Day 2024

Some 150 events are being held worldwide, with the theme “French-speaking talents, global careers ”, in resonance with the Francophonie Summit that will be held in France in autumn 2024.
